China National Machinery Import & Export Corporation (referred to as “CMC”) was established in 1950, and in 1998 it became a wholly owned subsidiary of China General Technology (Group) Holding Ltd., a key state-owned enterprise under direct supervision of central government. As New China’s first large-scale state-owned foreign trade company specialized in import and export of mechanical and electrical products as well as international engineering contracting business, it has realized a total business turnover of more than $100 billion since its inception. Since 2004, CMC has continuously ranked among the world’s largest 225 international.
The main business of CMC can be divided into 3 parts: a) international engineering contracting and the export of large complete equipment, b) domestic business, and c) auto marketing. Meanwhile, CMC will make every effort to carry on with related investment and financing business.

Bilecik Cement Plant with 3,300-ton daily output
CMC undertook Turkey’s first modern cement plant project which adopted up-to-date dry process cement production technology. With 3,300-ton daily output, Bilecik Cement Plant created the fastest construction record of the same scale cement plant.
Ankara-Istanbul High-Speed Railway Project
The CMC-led consortium built the Ankara-Istanbul High-Speed Railway Phase II Project in Turkey. This Project is a large EPC project, which contains financing, design and construction. It is the first overseas high-speed railway construction project undertaken by Chinese enterprises. It was also an iconic project for Chinese high-speed rail technology with independent intellectual property rights exported to Europe and the world, and symbolizing Sino-Turkish economic and trade cooperation. About 56.7% (USD $720 million) contract value financing is arranged by CMC.
